Mike's strong suit is characterization Although I am always fascinated by how well he wields scientific & tech knowledge on behalf of his stories (and I'm a picky prick when it comes to inaccuracies), it is the people I either fall in love with or hate with a passion (as he intends). Alternities has the politican thriller aspects of the best Tom Clancy, the tech to keep a geek itching for more and characters you care for and about. Satisfying all around. You can find it on Amazon, it may be out of print elsewhere.
