Jeanne DuPrau truly outdid herself. But I'm not sure I can say the same thing about the movie. Even though I loved the actors it was in more than one way poorly acted. I found it altered from the actual book, which was disappointing. And I don't know anyone who has seen it other than me. But hey i might buy anyway just because of the books.
