Although Gil Kenan has not released a live action film yet I think his debut with City of Ember will prove to be better than par. Along with a critically acclaimed screenwriter Kenan has a cast of amazingly talented actors from Tim Robbins to Bill Murray Portraying the villainous Mayor Cole.
